SAGINAW, MI Magic Johnson is a Trey Burke fan.

He thought the NCAA National Championship Game turned to Louisville's favor when Burke got in foul trouble in the first half, leading to an 8276 loss for Michigan.

"You're talking about real strong men. You come around the corner, they shoot about five elbows at you. Marc Gasol hit his brother (Pau) the other day so hard with an elbow.

"It's not that they couldn't do it. It's just the physical side of it would be tough. When you get to the NBA, it's whole 'nother animal."

Johnson is not happy with the current rules that force prospects to play one year of Calvin Johnson Black Jersey college basketball before jumping to the NBA. He would like to make it a minimum of two years, but he knows it probably won''t happen.

"I wish it was two," Johnson said. "In the NBA, a lot of young men are not ready. Some are, but a Calvin Johnson Jersey lot are not. You're going to see a lot of them declare this season. Out of all of them that declare, you're only going to have one superstar. Five or 10 of them will be cut in the next couple of years. Why? Because they are not mature enough. Their game is not mature enough for the NBA."

Johnson was tempted to leave after his freshman year at Michigan State. He even met with Kansas City, which Nike Calvin Johnson Jersey held the No. 1 pick in the draft.

"Here I am, 18 years old and very skinny," Johnson said. "My body had not Calvin Johnson Jersey Ebay matured enough. I had not matured enough. They offered me $200,000 a year. I said, 'No. I'm not ready. I have to go back.'

"I got ready. We're going to have a lot of people turn pro, and they're not ready. The NBA is a man's game, make no mistake."

Johnson hopes those opting to jump to the NBA make a few mathematical calculations.

"There are probably more than 10,000 people who play college basketball, but there's only two rounds of the draft," Johnson said. "Do the math. You're going from 10,000 to 64 guys being draft. And only half of those guys make it. There are only 400 or so players who play in the NBA."
